Koda came to us from Alison Vanderslice at Sogni Doro Goldens in Dover, Delaware. He is a big Teddy Bear!
He definitely embodies a true golden's gentle and loving temperament. He has never met anyone or anything he did not like. He is confident, loving and always wants to please. You will usually find him either laying at your feet or out playing ball!
It was evident early on that Koda loved the show ring...his first time in the ring for a Puppy Match he won Puppy Best of Breed and Group 1 at 4 months old.
Koda received his AKC Championship with limited showing. His first AKC show he went WD/BOW at 10 months old. He then went on to receive two majors at Golden Retriever Specialties. One of these was a five point major.
Koda got his Canadian Championship in only four weekends!
Koda Stud Description
Structurally he is a well-balanced and muscular dog. He stands at 24 1/2" tall at the withers and weighs 79Ibs.
Koda has a stunningly strong, masculine headpiece with a soft expression. He has correct ear placement as well as lovely dark pigmentation, full detention and a scissors bite. He has substantial bone, a lovely topline and neck into shoulder blend. His coat is straight medium gold colored with correct texture. He has effortless movement and is clean coming and going with full extension of both front and rear.
